A rare and striking deep-water volute from the Gulf of Panama. Voluta virescens lacertina is a scarce Pacific subspecies with a bold, distinctive appearance, strong reticulated pattern with well-defined rectangular blotches on a warm brown base, giving it an almost reptilian texture that sets it apart from its lindae cousin. A solid F++ example at a good size for the subspecies.
