Description

Locality: Colombia, 2025

Grade: F+++

A magnificent Colombian land snail and one of the most visually stunning terrestrial gastropods in the world. Solaropsis gibboni displays an extraordinarily intricate pattern of fine zigzag and flame-like markings in rich chocolate-brown and cream, radiating outward in perfect spiral symmetry, more reminiscent of a work of art than a natural shell. Collected directly from trees in the Colombian rainforest. At 63.4mm in pristine F+++ condition, this is an exceptional example of a species that never fails to captivate collectors and non-collectors alike.

WONDERFUL SHELL!!!
