Description
Locality: off Honduras, 2026
Grade: F+++
Dredged at 80-100 meters depth
An exceptionally rare deep-water fasciolarid from Honduran waters, and a close relative of H. distincta. This specimen is visually stunning: a vivid, warm orange-red body with crisp white spiral banding, giving it a bold and elegant appearance quite distinct from its sister species. Like H. distincta, H. cuna is virtually absent from the collector market, making any available example a significant acquisition. Offered with an octopus hole, a minor natural predation mark that does not diminish the shell’s remarkable visual impact or rarity.
VERY RARE !!
